CORONAVIRUS - Practice information.

The surgery is limiting the number of patients in the waiting room at any time. If you have an appointment, please use the intercom in the porch and reception will let you in.

We have also left a box in the porch for prescription requests and samples, so you do not need to come into the surgery to drop these off. There are spare sample pots and paper for prescription requests here too.

You can also order medication via the Patient Access or MyGp App on your computer or smart phone. Alternatively, click on the 'prescription' tab above to email us your prescription request.

Please be considerate to all our staff during this time as we are trying our best to help all of our patients, while keeping safe ourselves.

Many thanks

Manor Health Centre.

calendarAll doctors and nurses surgeries are held by appointment only which can be made by telephoning 0151 638 8221.

Our appointment system is such that approximately half of our appointments can be booked in advance and half are available to book on the day only. By having this system, it means that patients can plan their visit to the doctors or can see a doctor on the day, if they find they are suddenly ill. In order to access the book on the day appointments, patients need to contact the surgery at 08:00 on the day they would like to see the GP.

With this system, we aim to ensure that all patients can access a primary health care professional within 48 hours of needing medical advice and a GP within 24 hours of requiring the services of a doctor as well as have planned visits to the doctor.

Every effort is made to see emergencies as they occur, and these are seen between routine appointments, so we very much value your co-operation and understanding.

We do prefer patients to be seen by the same doctor if at all possible as this helps with the continuity of care.  Please try to make appointments with the same doctor who is treating your current illness or who has arranged tests for you.  However you are free to see any of our doctors for any new health problem that may concern you.

Telephone Consultations

All of our doctors and our senior nurses offer telephone consultations for minor problems follow up treatment or advice.  These are by appointment and the doctor will ring you back at the appropriate time.

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
